A walled garden, hawthorn avenues and woodland walks grace this beautiful garden. The garden surrounds Ardwell House (dating back to 1720) and there are fantastic views across Luce Bay to the Machars.

The gardens surround the ruined castle of Castle Kennedy and Lochinch Castle (the current home of the Stair family). Huge rhododendrons dominate the garden as well as exotic palm trees. There are two lochs within the grounds which provide a home for geese, swans and ducks.

A beautiful garden in the Rhins, landscaped in the 18th century and featuring a walled garden, glasshouses, tropical plants and a loch. One of the many gardens to host a snowdrop festival every year.

A stunning garden, constructed on the hillside comparatively recently in 1979 and spanning over 12 acres. It has two lochs, great views, resident red squirrels and a wildflower walk.

Set up in 1900, this is one of the finest of all the magnificent gardens in the Rhins and probably the most well known, due to it's collection of tropical plants. Logan Botanic Gardens also includes a walled garden, woodland walks, a bog garden, discovery centre, cafe and botanical shop. You can also take in the stunning views of the surrounding area from the gardens.

Centred around Logan House, as the name suggests, this 2 acre garden dates from the 1870s and, although separate from the Botanic Gardens, also boasts plants gathered from across the planet. Woodland walk. The gardens had overgrown but were restored to their former glory in 2001.
